Earth 3D - World Atlas App Reviews

I’m just saying….I’m the kind of person who really gets into this sort of thing, even though it’s childish-ish, I love maps of the world and information on things, and the layout of this app really is quite a beautiful way to do that. I see some people complaining about there being a lack of information, but what is here is a beautiful representation of this Earth we live on that hits the major key points and some little places you’ve probably never seen or knew of. Me personally, I love this app, and I love the animal addition. Sure, there isn’t as much information as there COULD be, but to me there still is a plethora of things to look at and learn for the cheap price you pay. Awesome app, very happy with it. Can’t wait to see what else these guys come out with! Thanks!

I purchased this to help teach my kids geography. For that purpose, it is ok. But at almost one gigabyte, this application does not display very much information relative to its storage footprint. For example, I can not find many rivers in Europe. Seems to me that information should be stored somewhere in the application database. Is it just not being displayed? Change Request: Remove, or make optional via toggle switch, these GIANT building icons rendered on the globe. They obscure the geographical details, and their placement is inaccurate. The US Pentagon building is NOT located in South Western Virginia. Why is it displayed as such? The Hungarian Parliment Building icon obscures almost the ENTIRE country of Hungary! Are there no cities, rivers, mountains and other features in Hungary, or is this building the only thing there? Suggestion: Allow the user to zoom to, say, 10 mile resolution, THEN display the building icon. Google Earth sets the standard for civilian level inspection of the Earth´s features.

Very good view, allows you to zoom and see how the world looks (i.e. i’ts a globe, not flat as it looks on most maps)
