What a waist of time and paid all that money for nothing. Would be better if it showed more then just the usa.

Beautiful graphics, easy navigating, and interesting locations; Earth 3D is almost the whole package. The United States and Europe are (as expected) incredibly detailed, but I would like to see more thought put into other regions of the world. Particularly, Latin America. Otherwise, great app and definitely worth buying.

While I love this app and it is fantastic. I purchased the 3D atlas once before for my youngest son. My old Mac finally crashed after years of great quality so I purchased a new one. I was shocked to find that many apps including this one had either been taken or add ons had to be repurchased as was the case here. This new 3D is much better than the original that I had purchased but I was highly upset to have to p-urchase it a second time. I had tried restoring my purchase and only received an error message. I stress cation with apps nowadays. Please keep all of your receipts so that a similar problem doesn’t happen with you. Other than that this is a great app and yes I did purchase it again for my son. 3 stars bc of repurchase otherwise 5 stars.

Every child and adult should have this app to explore and learn. Hope they come out with even more add-ons, I’ll buy ‘em. Really beautifully done.

It has been very useful when I need it.

I’ve used this app for well over a year now, both the Mac and thi iOS versions. It is a beautiful app visually and a very deep app as far as accessing information on virtually anything that it contains and shows. It will show you the basic information on any country, city, or object such as a landmark from right inside the application. You can twirl the globe around to any place, you can zoom in and out. There are lots of options underneath the hood that make this an app that you can almost get lost in if you are really interested in geography and knowing something about all the diferent places and peoples here on our big blue marble. Get the in-app purchases, too! They are well worth it.

this is a great introductionary app if you are curious about the world we live in. It could be a bit more detailed, but with any app you are not going to please everyone. With the point and click feature that reveals info on the point of interest it will then direct you to a more detailed desciption and then you can dig much deeper into what it is you are researching. well worth the $2.99.

Unfortunately the app doesn’t seem to work for us. None of the features work. The informative popups and navigation buttons do not show up. This also means that the Animal pack add on doesn’t work as well. I noticed that one reviewer mentions the anti aliasing setting, so I tried turning that off and when I did a brief, half second flicer of a preview flashed displaying what looked like navigation buttons that should be present. But they didn’t remain. It’s as if they’re set to invisible. That’s a weird thing. When you click on a city, a line shoots out of it which I assume is for an information fly out. When you place your mouse on top of the area above the line, you’ll often see your cursor respond as if there’s somehting there. Sure enough, when you click, you’ll be taken to a corresponding Wikipedia page. I’m no sure what the issue is. Our OS is updated to the latest version as of October 2016.

Information content layer doesn’t appear. You can toggle the layer on and off for a second when you go into settings and toggle the anti-alias feature, but it disappear either way.

So glad I downloaded this app!! It’s not only beautiful to look at and play with but so informative and educational as well! Don’t hesitate!! It’s AWESOME!!!

A great amount of work must have been done in the coding, I have no doubt about that. Really enjoyable. It’d be even better if users could feed the earth with facts, time, and places (and why not, share with others through the Internet). I hope that will be the next step.

Very good for learning Geography. Please translate it in German too (and in French and other language) then it will be good for 5 Stars. Thank you for that wonderfull atlas.

some excerpts from wikipedia to each country would be very nice! everything else nice, just needs to get more fluent.

I was expecting this app to be an addition to the Earth 3D app that runs in the background as your wallpaper. This is an individual app that you must control in order to use. It will not run in the background like their other app. Though it’s still a nice design, I would recomend their other app called Earth 3D.

Tried to purchase the animal world add-on but does not seem to work. If you go to their website they are selling it for $9.99 instead of the $3.99 purchase price here at the App Store. Hmmm. Plus, photos do not show up when you click on a place for information. Nice map though.

It crashes sometimes when search or preferences buttons clicked.
